The idea for these deck of cards was inspired by an outing to Cirque du Soleil with my family. While wanting to learn and practice illustrator and photoshop more proficiently, this being my first time using the programs, I also wanted to communicate the visually captivating and mesmerizing feeling into these 54 one of a kind illustrations on these deck of cards that is enjoyed by many.

I started my research on different circus acts which consisted of clowns, acrobats, and animals which travel around to different places to perform their shows. I decided to use flowers in the background because a time honored and social tradition of audience members tossing flowers on stage is to express their love, gratitude and appreciation to performing artists.
PRODUCTION
After completing the set of cards, I started designing the box to be more
personalized for myself yet maintaining a fun and vibrant theme. The back of the card displays
several ferris wheels which were used at the time to attract people from afar.
Due to popular demand on social media I sold over a hundred playing cards and packaged it with a
personalized sticker for each person. I’m just surprised that people wanted a deck of cards with my
face on it.
